2nd Night of Sonnets: A Collective Poetry Reading Everyone is invited to attend the 2nd NIGHT OF SONNETS, a multilingual poetry reading organized by the new School of Languages, Linguistics and Cultures, and the Department of English, at UVic. This is not a class or lecture, but a reading of sonnets in English, French, Italian and Spanish (English versions will be offered of all sonnets). The texts will be available on paper and via a QR code. If you are interested in reading a sonnet, either of your choice, your authorship or pre-selected, contact Prof. Dan Russek at drussek@uvic.cabefore April 9. No previous experience needed. Donation fee: $ 5 online, or in cash at the door the night of the event. Doors open at 6.00 PM. Drinks and tamales for purchase. This is a 19+ event (two IDs required).
