About the Bands: Stank is a fast-paced Heavy Alt Rock band with Metal, Midwest emo and Shoegaze influences. Formed 9 months ago with Max DelVillano on Bass+Vocals, Gwillim on Guitar+Backup Vocals and Mateo Alcaraz on Drums. Songwriters Jack Satchwell (Vocals, guitar) and Ben Marshman (guitar) formed Dysaynia in Victoria, Canada in 2023 and have become known for blending heavy riffs with shoegaze elements and strong vocals. The band’s latest single ‘liquorice’ reflects the latest evolution of their sound, showcasing Jack’s vocal prowess on top of a solid nu metal-esque guitar riff. Bassist Steven Reid adds dynamic lines inspired by classic 90’s metal acts, while drummer Isaiah Sanchez brings the heavy beats.
