Join us on the first Thursday of every month for an unforgettable evening celebrating raw talent and original music! We’re shining the spotlight on three handpicked local singer-songwriters, each bringing their unique voice, stories, and sound to the stage. Whether you're a music lover, a fellow artist, or just looking for an inspiring night out, this is your chance to experience the soul of our city—one song at a time. Come and support the magic of live, local music. Mckai Reschke: Mckai Reschke is a country-folk singer-songwriter from British Columbia, Canada. His stripped-down acoustic sound and reflective lyrics draw from real life, blending vulnerability with rugged honesty. Mckai’s songs are built for live rooms, raw, intimate, and deeply human. Stephen King: Stephen King is an award‑winning performer and singer‑songwriter from Halifax, Nova Scotia. He has self‑produced three independent recordings—Live at the Bluebird Café (2005, remastered 2019), Time to Face the Music (2011), and Joy on the Landing (2014)—along with a series of singles and original scores for indie film and media. In support of these Canadian releases, he has toured extensively across North America, from Los Angeles to Lunenburg. His forthcoming album, Science to What End? is slated for release in early 2026. An acoustic/electric guitarist fluent in folk, rock, blues, and jazz, King blends these traditions into a contemporary, improvisatory style best described as alternative. His songwriting is driven by lived experience—personal, romantic, and artistic—often touching on political themes and grounded in metaphysics, social and environmental awareness. Cohen Grundy: Musician from lekwungen territory who writes songs and sings them too. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Townes Van Zandt and Nick Drake, as well as The Moldy Peaches and Jeffrey Lewis. They aspire to cover lots of territory with their music, while always staying rooted in folk and pop.
